Klaes Molenaer (Haarlem, 1626/29 - Haarlem 1676): Dutch painter of the Golden Age famous for his winter landscapes. He is the brother of the painter Jan Miense Molenaer. He is a member of the guild of St. Luke of Haarlem in 1651. 
Our painting, typical of the painter, is signed (K Molenaer) on the sled (lower right corner)(see photo). 
State: Good conservation and general condition. Linen canvas doubled. Surface without risk. Homogeneous and transparent varnish. Restoration: small alterations in the sky and small tears.
